Staring into space just thinkin at the end of another day
Isn't it funny how fast time passes away
Today things happen so fast that you don't get time to appreciate

I look out the window, it's pitch black outside
Two seconds ago it seems like the sun was in my eyes
If I had one wish, I'd wish to meet Time
So I could cut his wings, so he couldn't fly

I was looking forward to today
For weeks, months, years
But now the laughter is gone
Its only silence that I hear
Let's face it, I'm just another helpless guy
on Life's rollercoaster ride
I'm trying so hard to hit the brakes
But the world keeps asking why
How can I fight it with so much against me
I try to jump off, but my conscience prevents me

Today...I got nothing more to say
Today...the world stands in my way
Today...is gone; alone I lay
Today...is just another lost day
